Certificate of Higher Education

The third phase of the course is optional and allows students to continue studying and gain the Certificate of Higher Education in Business Office Information Systems.

To be awarded the Certificate of Higher Education in Business Office Information Systems, students must either:

  • complete a further six elective modules or
  • a further two elective modules plus an organisational project.

The module will provide the student with an opportunity to develop an information system for use within their own organisation.

At the end of the module the student should be able to:

  • Analyse the system requirements
  • Undertake a feasibility study
  • Design and develop the system
  • Implement the system
  • Undertake user training
  • Provide essential user and technical documentation
