    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.moustraining.uk.com/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=1499">Verity O</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> Submitting Work<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 31 March 2008 at 1:38pm<br /><br />I agree that compressing files before they are sent e.g. Excel files are important&nbsp;and its useful to learn. <DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>I remember&nbsp;on the last module I did compress my files because I could tell by the file size on my home computer against the original ones before I sent them&nbsp;online.&nbsp;&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>The only thing I found that&nbsp;Winzip wasn't letting me do was when I tried to drag the actual files into the Winzip window, to then allow&nbsp;only&nbsp;one compressed file to be seen.&nbsp; I don't find Winzipping to be a problem at all&nbsp;but for&nbsp;reason it doesn't always let me&nbsp;do&nbsp;what I want it to do.&nbsp; Anyway thanks for your advice Alex. &nbsp;I'll keep going with this assignment. </DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>Thanks</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>Verity <img src="http://www.moustraining.uk.com/forum/smileys/smiley2.gif" height="17" width="17" border="0" align="absmiddle" alt="Wink" /></DIV>]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.moustraining.uk.com/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=4">Alex H</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> Submitting Work<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 31 March 2008 at 1:11pm<br /><br />At the recent Award Board is was mentioned that we need to look at the issues of students not complying with things like not compressing files etc.  We shall be formally doing this from September.  <br /><br />However there is a more fundamental reason for compressing the files before they are sent, and that is if files (especially Excel files) are simply attached to an email and not compressed, they are likely to get blocked by anti virus filters and as such wont get here in the first place!!<br /><br />Alex]]>
